Terms of service

These terms set out the agreement between you and be braver Ltd, trading as “be braver hosting” (“we”, “us”). By using our services, you agree to them.
Who we are
be braver hosting is a trading style of be braver Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 06612298, registered office Crown House, 27 Old Gloucester Street, London, WC1N 3AX. You can reach us at hello@bebraverhosting.com or 01908 95 02 02.
Our services
We look after websites and email for small businesses. This includes our website care plans (Take it off my plate, Keep it moving, Make sense of it for me), one-off projects, domain registration, website hosting and email hosting. What's included in each is described on the relevant page of this site and in any quote or order we agree with you.
Fees and payment
Care plans and email hosting are billed monthly in advance. One-off projects are billed as set out in your quote. Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. If a payment is missed, we'll get in touch before anything changes.
Your responsibilities
You're responsible for the content you ask us to publish and for using our services lawfully. You confirm you have the right to use any text, images or other material you give us, and you'll keep your contact and billing details up to date.
Domains
Any domain we register is registered in your name — it's yours. We'll help you renew it and, if you ever leave, transfer it away. We're not responsible for a domain lapsing if a renewal payment can't be taken.
The providers behind your service
We host with carefully chosen partners — Krystal (UK) and Infomaniak (Switzerland) — and provide email through Infomaniak's kSuite. The site is published through Static Host UK. Your service depends on these providers, and their own terms and acceptable-use policies apply alongside ours.
Acceptable use
You agree to our Acceptable use policy. We may suspend or remove anything that breaches it, or that puts our other customers or providers at risk.
Leaving us
There's no lock-in. You can cancel a monthly plan with one month's notice, and we'll help you move your website, domain and email somewhere else. Your data and your domain are yours to take.
Availability and backups
We work hard to keep your website and email running, but no hosting is ever guaranteed to be uninterrupted. We and our providers keep backups, but you should keep your own copies of anything you can't afford to lose.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited — for example, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, we're not liable for loss of profits, loss of business, or indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a significant change, we'll let you know. The current version always lives on this page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
